BMZ Player
Manual
How to get started with BMZ Player, how to play, and what to do when something goes wrong.
1
Introduction
Thank you for downloading BMZ Player. This page explains what BMS is and what you need to start playing.
2
Setup
These steps take you from downloading BMZ Player to playing your first song. Work through them from the top. Skip any step you have already done.
3
Moving from LR2 or beatoraja
This page explains how to bring your songs, scores, and skins from LR2 or beatoraja into BMZ Player. BMZ Player does not change the original software's files, so you can keep using LR2 or beatoraja afterward.
4
Basic controls
This page lists the main controls on the song select, play, and result screens. Keys are shown with their default bindings. You can change them in Settings → Key Config.
5
Play options
These options change how hard a song is and how it looks. Change them in the option panel on the song select screen (shown while holding E1 and similar buttons), or in Settings → Gameplay.
6
Timing and latency
Use this page if you keep getting FAST or SLOW even when you feel on time, or if the sound seems delayed. Delay depends on your computer, monitor, and audio device, so adjust the settings for your setup.
7
Troubleshooting
Common problems and how to fix them. If nothing here helps, report the problem as described at the end of this page.
